Official Google Blog: Introducing the Google Chrome OS
Ever since Google announced that they were making their own operating system a few years ago, I got really excited. I LOVE Google Desktop to bits; it let me do away with organizing files completely. (Well not completely, but almost. I still keep the dirty pics and videos in the "System Files" folder.)
I can't wait to see how much Google Chrome OS will make life easier. It aspires to keep even old PCs running as fast as new, and to completely remove the hassle of backing up files.
Although, I hope they make it available for download and not just packaged in 'netbooks', as I don't really want to buy another computer.
